Qur’anic learning in madrasahs has generally focused on improving students’ reading abilities, while the dimension of Qur’anic character education has not been systematically integrated into the learning process. In fact, Qur’anic learning has significant potential to foster students’ discipline, responsibility, consistency, and Qur’anic manners through habituation, teacher modeling, and the internalization of Qur’anic values. This study aims to analyze Qiro’ati learning as a model of Qur’anic character education at MTs Darus Salam Kunduran Blora. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design involving one madrasa principal, three Qiro’ati teachers, and eight students. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings indicate that the Qiro’ati learning system integrates habituation, teacher modeling, and continuous evaluation to foster students’ discipline, responsibility, consistency, and Qur’anic manners through structured Qur’anic learning practices. The study also reveals that character formation is developed through classical-individual learning, routine repetition, evaluation, and value reinforcement embedded in daily learning activities. The novelty of this study lies in the construction of Qiro’ati learning as a model of Qur’anic character education that is oriented not only toward mastering Qur’anic reading skills but also toward holistic value internalization and character formation. This study implies that Qur’anic learning in madrasahs can be developed as an integrative character education system based on Qur’anic values.
