Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the practice method in fiqh learning on students understanding of prayer procedures at MTsN 1 Kota Palu. This research employed a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental design using a one-group pre-test and post-test model. The research subjects were students who received treatmeant through the application of the practice method. Data were collected using pre-test and post-test instruments and analyzed using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank test. The results showed a significant difference between pre-test and post-test scores, with a significance value of 0.039 (p <0.05). This indicates that the practice method has a significant effect on improving students understanding of prayer procedures. Therefore, the practice method can be considered an effective alternative learning strategy in fiqh education, especially for practical-based materials.
