This article aims to analyze the implementation of the Tikrar method in Qur’an memorization instruction for 11th-grade students at Darul Ulum Sugio High School, specifically in memorizing Surah Yā Sīn,
Al-Waqi’ah, Al-Mulk, and Ar-Rahman. This study was motivated by the importance of effective memorization methods in supporting students’ achievement of memorization targets in formal schools. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of this study is that the Tikrar method is highly relevant for implementation in formal educational institutions with adaptations based on students’ needs. This study recommends optimizing memorization evaluation using spaced repetition techniques, a differentiated learning approach, and the involvement of parents in the memorization monitoring process. Thus, Quran memorization can become more stable, measurable, and sustainable in the long term.
