Science learning in madrasah is not only oriented toward conceptual mastery but also toward the development of students’ character and spiritual awareness. This study aims to describe the implementation of deep learning through a Problem Based Learning (PBL) model integrated with Islamic values in environmental topics for Grade IX students at MTs PP. Nurul Islam. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed with ninth-grade students as research participants. Data were collected through classroom observations, instructional document analysis, students’ written reflections, and learning assessment results. The findings indicate that deep learning through PBL enhances students’ active engagement, critical thinking skills, and ecological awareness grounded in Islamic values, making learning more meaningful and reflective
