Pembinaan Karakter Disiplin dan Tanggung Jawab Melalui Pembiasaan Religius untuk Mitigasi Kecanduan Game Online pada Siswa SMP

This article aims to analyze the implementation of religious practices in fostering students’ discipline and sense of responsibility as a strategy to mitigate online gaming addiction at SMPN 3 Tanjungraja, North Lampung. The study employs a qualitative approach using a case study design. Data collection techniques included participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. Research informants consisted of the principal, Islamic Religious Education teachers, homeroom teachers, and students. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study concluded that religious habits based on Quranic literacy and congregational prayer are effective in shaping students’ discipline and sense of responsibility while also serving as a preventive strategy to mitigate online gaming addiction among junior high school students.
