Pengembangan Media Film Edukatif “Akhlakul Karimah” untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran Akidah Akhlak di MTs At-Taqwa Windusari
Abstract
The teaching of Islamic beliefs and ethics often remains centred on lectures and rote learning, meaning that pupils’ understanding tends to remain at the level of knowledge and is not yet fully reflected in their everyday behaviour. This situation highlights a gap between the ethical concepts taught and their actual application in pupils’ lives. To address this, there is a need for teaching materials that can present these values in a more concrete and contextual manner. This study aims to develop an educational film on the theme of Akhlakul Karimah to enhance students’ understanding at MTs At-Taqwa Windusari. Film was chosen because it combines visual, audio, and narrative elements that resonate with students’ experiences, thereby facilitating the internalisation of values. Qualitative research, involving data collection through interviews, observation and documentation, employs descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that the use of educational films can foster more active and meaningful learning. Students not only grasp the concepts but are also emotionally engaged and encouraged to reflect on the values presented. However, the effectiveness of this medium depends on the teacher’s role in managing the learning process in a focused manner. When used appropriately, educational films have the potential to serve as an effective tool for strengthening understanding whilst shaping students’ character.
