Abstract

Teachers in schools often face challenges in designing Akidah Akhlak lessons that are able to actively involve students, so teaching objectives are often not achieved optimally. This research aims to develop a learning design through a combination of the ASSURE Model, which provides a systematic guide for planning, and the Student Teams Achievement Divisions (STAD) method, which supports cooperative learning. This research uses a qualitative approach based on literature study, with analysis of relevant literature. The results show that the combination of the ASSURE Model and the STAD method can increase the effectiveness of Akidah Akhlak learning, and optimize the achievement of teaching objectives. This combination design is appropriate for Akidah Akhlak lessons, because it is proven to accommodate the needs of students, so that learning becomes more interactive.
