The methods used in this community service initiative included initial observation, program planning, implementation of mentoring, and evaluation of the activity’s results. The results of the mentoring indicate that: 1) The quality of students’ Quran memorization at the Sumoyono Diwek Jombang Entrepreneur Quran Memorization Center encompasses several aspects: a) Fluency in memorizing the Qur’an according to the established levels: Level 1—memorization of Juz 1 and Juz 30; Level 2—memorization of Juz 1–5, Juz 29, and Juz 30; and Level 3—memorization of Juz 1 through Juz 30. b) Recitation in accordance with the rules of tajwid. c) Fashahah: the fluency and eloquence of recitation. 2) Strategies for Improving the Quality of Quran Memorization include three approaches: the double-repetition strategy (muroja’ah), not moving on to the next verse until it is fully memorized, and the tasmi’ method, where recitations are reviewed and verified by teachers. 3) Supporting and Hindering Factors in Improving the Quality of Quran Memorization: Among the supporting factors are strong intention and determination, consistent teachers, and more modern facilities. As for the hindering factors, these include a lack of intention and motivation, parents who are not supportive, and a lack of discipline in following the rules.
Nurul Indana, Qurrotul Ainiyah , Ali Mustofa, Ninik Serla Anggraini, Nurul Lailiyah Copyright (c) 2026 Al-‘Ilm Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/2973 Sun, 12 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Edukasi dan Penguatan Moderasi Beragama dalam Membangun Keharmonisan Masyarakat di Desa Kebontemu https://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/2991
Religious moderation is an approach that emphasises tolerance, respect for diversity, and the upholding of values of togetherness within a diverse society. The Diba’iyah tradition, as part of Islamic cultural heritage, holds significant spiritual, social and educational value for the community, particularly the younger generation. However, with the passage of time, public interest and participation in these activities have tended to decline. The implementation methods of this PKM include a participatory approach through outreach, training, mentoring, and institutional strengthening of TPQs and Diba’iyah groups. The programme also integrates the teaching of Islamic values using approaches that are more engaging and contextually relevant for children and adolescents. The results of the activities indicate an increase in community participation, particularly among TPQ students, in Diba’iyah activities, as well as a greater understanding of local religious traditions. Furthermore, the formation of synergy between TPQ teachers, community leaders, and Diba’iyah groups serves as a key factor in ensuring the programme’s sustainability. Thus, optimising the roles of Diba’iyah and TPQ can serve as an effective strategy for preserving local religious traditions whilst strengthening the religious character of the younger generation in Peterongan.
Elysa Nurul Qomaria, Noor Fatikah, Khumairoh An Nahdliyah , Julianne Kamelia Riza, Ikfi Khoulita Copyright (c) 2026 Al-‘Ilm Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/2994 Fri, 17 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Pemberdayaan dan Transformasi Digital: Menciptakan Tas Anyaman Tangguh Berkelanjutan di Era Society 5.0 Desa Krenceng Kecamatan Kepung Kediri Jawa Timur https://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/2996
Krenceng Village, Kepung Subdistrict, has great potential in the woven bag creative industry; however, artisans still face challenges related to design innovation, production efficiency, and low digital literacy. This study employs the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, based on Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD), to promote the empowerment of MSMEs through participatory and sustainable digital transformation. The ABCD approach is used to identify and optimize local assets, both human capital and social capital, as the foundation for transformation, while PAR ensures active community involvement in every stage of change. The research stages include the following phases: (1) To Know, or mapping assets and issues; (2) To Dream, for digital vision planning; (3) To Do, through transformative action; and (4) To Check, as an evaluation of results. Data was collected through participatory observation, in-depth interviews, and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with village officials and artisan groups. The research results indicate that the integration of PAR-ABCD successfully shifted artisans’ mindset toward the digital ecosystem of Society 5.0. Key findings include: The creation of a variety of eco-friendly woven bag designs that meet the standards for resilient, sustainable products. Improved digital literacy in the use of e-marketplaces and visual branding. The formation of collective groups that strengthen bargaining power against middlemen. Minimization of technological resistance by integrating digital tools into traditional workflows. This study confirms that inclusive collaboration based on local assets can foster economic self-reliance for SMEs in the digital era.
Mohammad Anis Sumadi , Emi Musyafaah, Faricha Lita Nabbila , Nurul Indana, Kesya Rahmadita , M Renaldy Avrilian Copyright (c) 2026 Al-‘Ilm Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/2996 Sat, 18 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700 Halal Da’wah and Product Certification: A Study of the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) Fatwas on Food Trays within the MBG Government Program https://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/3005
This study examines the role of halal-oriented da’wah in promoting halal values through product certification, with particular attention to fatwas issued by the Indonesian Council of Ulama (MUI) concerning the halal status of food trays within the government’s Free Nutritious Meal Program (MBG). Halal consumption has become a global concern and a significant component of contemporary Islamic practice. As a result, the scope of halal certification has expanded beyond food ingredients to include packaging and serving equipment. Food trays, which are widely used in the food industry, may involve materials derived from non-halal sources, thereby necessitating rigorous assessment from the perspective of Islamic law. This research adopts a qualitative approach, employing a case study method, literature review, and document analysis. The study encompasses MUI fatwas, government policies related to the MBG program, and recent academic discussions on halal food systems. The findings indicate that MUI fatwas function not only as legal instruments but also as a form of halal-oriented da’wah, integrating Qur’anic principles of halalan ṭayyiban into public life. Furthermore, the MBG program provides a strategic platform for institutionalizing halal certification as an integral component of national food quality standards. The study concludes that the halal certification of food trays represents an emerging dimension of da’wah, in which Islamic teachings are operationalized through regulatory practices, public policy frameworks, and industrial standards.
Siti Nuri Nurhaidah, Akmalun Najmi, Hadiyan Hadiyan, Ahmad Irfan, Solahuddin Abdul Rachman Copyright (c) 2026 Al-‘Ilm Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat https://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/3005 Fri, 17 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0700
