However, there are still parents who do not fully understand their roles and responsibilities in educating their children and fostering their religious character. Some parents still believe that character education is the school’s responsibility, while the family’s role is primarily focused on meeting economic needs. This Community Service (PkM) activity aims to improve parents’ understanding and skills in carrying out their role in shaping the religious character of adolescents through training and mentoring activities. The activity was conducted in Bulurejo Hamlet, Bulurejo Village, Diwek Subdistrict, Jombang Regency, involving parents with teenage children. The implementation methods included initial observation, presentation of material, discussion, training, practice, and guidance for parents in applying religious character-building practices within the family environment. The results of the activities showed an increase in parents’ understanding of the importance of setting a good example, establishing a routine of worship, positive communication, and supervision of adolescents’ activities. Parents have begun to instill the habit of praying in congregation, reading the Qur’an, behaving politely, and building more intensive communication with their children. However, time constraints due to work commitments remain one of the obstacles to optimal supervision. It is hoped that these training and guidance activities will strengthen the family’s role in shaping adolescents’ religious character in a sustainable manner
2026-10-09T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-‘Ilm Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakathttps://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/3921Pelatihan Pengembangan Media Pembelajaran Integratif Sains dan Pendidikan Agama Islam Berbasis Ayat-Ayat Kauniyah untuk Meningkatkan Literasi Sains dan Religiusitas Siswa2026-10-16T15:45:29+07:00Ari Setyawansetyawana401@gmail.comNurul Lailiyahnurullailiyah23@gmail.comArif Rahman Hakimayipuyip@gmail.comIkfi Khoulitakhoulita82@gmail.comAhmad Budiyonoonobudi.stituw@gmail.com
The integration of science and Islamic Religious Education (IRE) is one approach to developing learning that links the mastery of scientific knowledge with the formation of religious values. However, the integration of these two fields requires learning materials that are systematically designed so that it does not stop at merely including verses from the Qur’an in science lessons. This community service activity is designed to enhance teachers’ competencies in developing integrative science and PAI learning materials based on verses related to natural phenomena. The implementation plan includes needs assessment, dissemination of the concept of science-religion integration, training in material development, guidance in product development, and evaluation. The developed materials may take the form of digital modules, student worksheets, and interactive presentation materials that connect natural phenomena, scientific concepts, relevant verses from the Qur’an, and reflections on Islamic values. The evaluation is designed to assess improvements in teachers’ competencies in developing these materials, the quality of the products, and their potential for supporting students’ science literacy and religious devotion. This article offers an activity design that can be adapted to partners’ needs and evaluated empirically using implementation data.
2026-10-20T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-‘Ilm Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakathttps://pondokjurnal.uwj.ac.id/index.php/Alilmalmujtama/article/view/3926Pelatihan Literasi Digital dan Etika Bermedia Sosial bagi Santri Pondok Pesantren Qur’any Sumberagung Gadungsari Blitar2026-10-18T13:47:47+07:00Solikhinrudi.kurniawanai@gmail.comIka Winartiikawinarti40@gmail.comNur Alfi Mawaddahalfiini1320@gmail.comRudi Kurniawanrudi.kurniawanai@gmail.com SugiyantoSugiyanto@uwj.ac.idAhmad Baidowiacmadbaidlowi76@gmail.comQurrotul Ainiyahq_ainiy@yahoo.co.id
The acceleration of digital transformation requires Islamic educational institutions, particularly Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren), to adapt by integrating digital media as a tool for contemporary da’wah. On the other hand, the escalation in social media use has given rise to negative consequences, such as the proliferation of false information (hoaxes), the threat of cybercrime, and the erosion of communication ethics. Therefore, this Community Service (PkM) program was initiated to enhance digital literacy competencies, foster an understanding of social media ethics grounded in Islamic values, and develop the creative content production skills of students at the Qur’any Sumberagung Islamic Boarding School in Gadungsari, Blitar. The program implementation approach is systematically designed through five comprehensive stages: (1) partner needs analysis, (2) consolidation and outreach, (3) intervention through interactive training, (4) intensive mentoring, and (5) evaluation of achievements. The training curriculum focused on integrating the Four Pillars of Digital Literacy, Information Jurisprudence, cybercrime mitigation, and the practice of creating positive content. Evaluation results indicate a significant improvement in the students’ cognitive and technical skills in constructing creative, safe, and ethical da’wah narratives. The program’s sustainability is demonstrated through the institutionalization of the “Qur’anic Student Media Team.” Recommendations for follow-up include conducting publication feasibility tests and standardizing pesantren broadcasting protocols.
2026-10-20T00:00:00+07:00Copyright (c) 2026 Al-‘Ilm Mujtama: Jurnal Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat
